The local residents arrested 2 people from Domadi area bordering Durgapur-Puthita upazila of Rajshahi and handed them to the police on charges of hengar and his theft. They were arrested from Domadi Bazar in Belpukur Unit of Puthita Upazila on Monday afternoon.
The arrested are the son of deceased Azimuddin of Belpukur Badhadash village and worker Abu Salim, son of deceased Azimar Molla of Palashbai village of Puthiar, the lineman of Baneshwar sub zone Abdul Latif Palli.
Locals said that on Monday afternoon, the electricity transformer from the Durgapur upazila was arrested and the police went to the scene of the incident.
Al Mamun, Assistant Engineer of Barendra Multipurpose Development Authority (BMDA), Puthita Zone, said, I informed the Upazila Nirbahi Officer, DGM of Rural Electricity, Belpukur Thana and Durgapur Police Station after learning about the poison. Office people will also be sent there. If they If you don't take action, then I will file a case myself.

Officer-in-charge of Durgapur police station Nazmul Haque said, after receiving the news, I have sent the police station there. Initially, the people of rural electricity are involved. After talking to the higher authorities, the issue will be taken and legal action will be taken.
