Commenting that the judiciary was transformed into a BNP party arena, Awami League General Secretary and Minister of Transport and Bridges Obaidul Quader said that Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir's speech about the country's constitution and judicial system is invasive.
He said these things in a statement signed by Aomi League office secretary Barrister Biplab Barua on Friday (August 4), which condemned BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir's ‘arous and unconstitutional statement’ about the country's judiciary. Awami League General Secretary protested.

Obaidul Quader said, ‘BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and their leaders are making negative comments about the country's independent justice system, while the crime of BNP's corrupt top leadership has been proved through long tragic process and evidence. They have been punished by the judgment of the learned court.’
