Three leaders including general secretary of Kamalnagar upazila BNP Nurul Huda Chowdhury of Laxmipur were released on bail on Tuesday and they were released from Dhaka Central Jail on Tuesday. Others who were on bail are Upazila Jubo Dal Ahbatak M Didar Hossain and Jatitavadi Sanskarti Sangsad (Jasas) Member Secretary Babul Hossain.
They were arrested from Dhaka 4 months ago and later sent several cases against them and sent them to jail. After a long imprisonment, the BNP leaders were released and the excitement among the activists was restored.
Former MP ABM Ashraf Uddin Nijan said that the police arrested three BNP leaders including Nurul Huda Chowdhury from Kakrail in Dhaka on November 6 last year, which was later imprisoned for a false case against them and was strongly condemned by the incident. I am demanding immediate release from the false cases against them.
