The Election Commission (EC) has published the vote rate received by the political parties who participated in the 13th National Parliament elections. The commission released the list on Sunday, according to the EC data, BNP has received the highest number of votes as a single party, with the second position in Jamaat-e-Islami and the independent candidates are in the third position.
According to the EC statistics, the BNP got 49.97 percent of the total votes voted among the voters who participated in the election.
Independent candidates have held a third position in the third position, they have got 5.79 percent of the total votes, followed by the National Party (NCP) and 3.05 percent of the votes.
Among other parties, Islami Andolan Bangladesh has received 2.70 percent votes, Bangladesh Khilafat Majlis has received 2.09 percent votes, the voter rate of other smaller parties is below 1 percent, but the former government party has only 0.89 percent of the votes.
