Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman University of Science and Technology in Gopalganj celebrated the 92nd birth anniversary of Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib, the wife of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
On this occasion, on 08 August 2022 at 3.00 pm, Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. A. Q. M. The discussion meeting was held under the chairmanship of Mahbub, among others, the Dean of the Faculty of Science, Professor Dr. Md. Shahjahan, Dean of Humanities Faculty Mohammad Ashikuzzaman Bhui, Examination Dept. SM Golam Hadar, History Department President Mosha Sanjeeda Parveen, History Department student Shariful Islam Sohag and others. The program was conducted by the Dean of the Faculty of Law and Proctor Dr. Md. Raziur Rahman.
In the welcome speech, the Dean of the Faculty of Science, Professor Dr. Md Shahjahan said, Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib has supported Bangabandhu's struggle and politics throughout his life. Mohammad Ashikuzzaman Bhui, Dean of Humanities Faculty, said that Bangabandhu's name is in the name of Bangamata, he was not only Bangabandhu's common wife, he was Bangabandhu's fellow warrior, Dean and Proctor of Law Faculty. Md. Rajiur Rahman said, Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib's contribution to the formation of Bengali nation is immense. Examination detector SM Golam Hadar said, as long as Bangladesh exists, the names of Bangabandhu and Bangamata will remain.
Mocha Sanjeeda Parveen, President of History Department, said Renu's contribution to the rise of Bangabandhu's father of the nation was immense.
novel President Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. A. Q. M. Mahbub said Bangmata was a unique and ordinary Mahila woman who did a lot of research in her nick. She called on the ideals of Bangabandhu and Bangamata to be kept in mind for the freedom achieved for the future generations.
On the occasion of the 92nd birth anniversary of Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib, Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib held various events. The event included tree planting in the hall 11 am, 7.00 pm cake cutting, 7.15 pm discussion meeting, speech competition and prize distribution ceremony.
