Former and current leaders of District Chhatra League have commented that Barguna Chhatra League leaders and workers are being beaten by the Central Chhatra League.
In a press conference organized at Barguna Press Club on Saturday (August 20) afternoon, the former Chhatra League leaders made such comments. They demanded that the current committee of the Chhatra League be canceled and a new council and form a committee.
In a written speech at the press conference, the mourning day ceremony on August 15 was condemned by the Chhatra League leaders and workers and the arrogant behavior of the police with the parliament member Dhirendra Debnath Shambhu.
It was said in the press conference that the Central Chhatra League, ignoring the constitution, announced the committee of Barguna District Chhatra League. For this reason, the glory of Barguna District Chhatra League has been wronged along with the glorious history of the ideology. Therefore, it was demanded to announce the abolition of the unconstitutional committee in the constitutional process. At the same time, he canceled the newly announced committee of the District Chhatra League and demanded the formation of a new committee in the consultation of the Constituent Procrete District Awami League.
In his speech, Abdur Rashid, the founder general secretary of the district Chhatra League and former commander of the district freedom fighter command council, said that on August 15, the central leaders including the president of the Chhatra League, including the president of the Chhatra League, are not responsible for this incident.
