Barguna Representative:
Two children were accused of hacking to death after failing to rape Sadar Upazila in Barguna. The two children Hafizur (13) and Taifa (3) were killed.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Barguna Sadar Police Station AKM Mizanur Rahman confirmed this information on Friday (August 4) afternoon.
He also said that accused Ilyas Pahlan (30) son of Abu Pahlan of Keojunita village of Ata-Patakta Unit has been arrested.
It is reported that the incident took place late at night in the Roadpara area of Phuljhuri union of Sadar upazila, and the injured woman Reagan (30) was injured in the skull and was sent to Sher-e Bangla Medical College Hospital in Barisal for better treatment.
Additional Superintendent of Police (Sadar Circle) A. Halim said, after hearing the news, the bodies of the two children were recovered and sent to the morgue.
She also said that she failed to rape Shali. His own child and a 13-year-old brother's son who were next to him were hacked to death and the woman was rescued and sent to Barisal Shere-Bangla Medical College Hospital for better treatment, and we have already been able to arrest the accused, the mastermind of the incident, Ilytas Pahlan.
