Barguna District Representative:
A training workshop titled “Press Council Law and Conduct Rules and Right to Information Act” organized by Bangladesh Press Council was held with the participation of journalists from print and electronic media in Barguna.
Bangladesh Press Council Chairman Justice Md. Nizamul Haque Nasim was present as the chief guest in the workshop held at Barguna Circuit House Auditorium on Saturday at 10 am under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Executive Magistrate Tanveer Hossain.
Bangladesh Press Council Secretary Md. Shah Alam presented the key article on the Press Council Law and Code of Conduct and Right to Information Act.
Additional Superintendent of Police Md. Tarek Rahman, District Information Officer Md. Salim Mahmud, President of Barguna Press Club Advocate Sanjeev Kumar Das, former President Chittaranjan Sheel, Zakir Hossain Miraj, Hasanur Rahman Jhantu, Monir Hossain Kamal, Former General Secretary of Press Club Advocate Golam Mostafa Quader, President of Betagi Press Club Zahidul Islam Montu, Journalist Union Ed. M Mujibul Haque Kislu and others.
More than half a hundred journalists working in Barguna district participated in the day-long workshop.
