The import approval process has ended, the arrival of Panaj from India has stopped.
According to Hili land port work, 1 thousand 902 tons of water came in 68 trucks on April 30 at the port.
After the Eid holiday, import and export started on May 7 at the port, but so far no pens have come. Meanwhile, before Eid, the pejz was sold at the rate of Tk 14-15 per kg, but now it is being sold at Tk 20-22 per kg.
Shahrir Alam, an importer of Hili port, said that the import-export of the Paoza Import Permit (IP) was closed for the import of Paja from India from May 1 to May 6 on the occasion of the holy Eid-ul-Fitr.
Sohrab Hossain, a public relations officer at the land port, said that the water has arrived from India on April 30. After that, no ships were imported to the port.
