The Department of Narcotics Control has conducted an anti-narcotics operation in a flat in the capital's Banani, which has seized the huge drugs.
Today Sunday (September 4) afternoon, a flat of house number 77 of Road No. 11 of M block of Banani was raided.
During the search, the director of Samah Razor Blades Industries Limited, a member of the GMG group, was arrested and his name was Salim Sattar.
The assistant director of Dhaka Metro North of the Narcotics Control Department confirmed the matter. Mehdi Hasan said, based on advance information, a huge foreign liquor, MDMA and synthetic ganja were recovered in a raid on a luxury flat on Road No. 11 in Banani.
Mehdi Hasan also said that a person named Salim has been arrested in the incident, who has claimed to be a Canadian citizen.
He is also a citizen of Bangladesh and is the director of a subsidiary of GMG Group, Mehdi Hasan also said that details will be given later in the campaign.
