A construction worker named Shahidul Islam (50) died tragically from the rooftop working in Bakshiganj of Jamalpur. The incident took place at Alhaj Ghazi Amanuzzaman Modern College in the upazila's Bagarchar Unit on Tuesday afternoon. Son of Golzar Ali of the area.
It is known that the construction worker Shahidul Islam was seriously injured in the second floor of Alhaj Gazi Amanuzzaman Modern College, Bakshiganj, while he was working on the second floor of the newly constructed building.
After rescuing the situation, he was found dead by Bakshiganj Upazila Health Complex, where the doctor on duty declared him dead. Bakshiganj Thana police recovered the body after receiving the news.
Bakshiganj police station officer-in-charge Mohammad Abdul Ahad Khan said, the police have been sent after the news. The body has been recovered and the necessary measures will be taken subject to investigation.
