The minimum amount of Fitra has been fixed at Tk 115 per person in the current year and the maximum amount of Fitra has been fixed at Tk 2,640.
On Saturday (April 2), this rate will be determined by the meeting of the National Fitra Determination Committee of the Islamic Foundation.
Before Fitra last year, the rate of fitra in Bangladesh was 75 taka per person and the maximum 2 thousand 310 taka.
According to Islamic Shari'ah, any product of flour, date, wheat, raisins, cheese and barley according to the ability, or its market value, can be distributed among the poor as Fitra. In the case of flour, the amount of 1 kg is 650 grams, so the minimum amount of Fitra may increase this time, because the price of each of the products on which the fitra is determined has increased in the last year.
