The case filed for beating and torturing the wife for dowry is the case of Chutadanga Police Inspector (Investigation) Md. Shamsuddoha (40) sentenced him to two years rigorous imprisonment for two years, and he was fined 20,000 rupees.
On Tuesday (August 16) around 3 pm, Faridpur Women and Child Abuse Prevention Court Judge Pradeep Kumar Ratta gave the order. Esmut Police Inspector (Investigation) Md. Shamsuddoha was present in the court.

Later on 24th February this year, he was arrested by Gulshan Thana police from Rajabazar area of Dhaka. The next day on 25th February Shamsuddoha was sent to the learned court of Kotoli police station in Faridpur and for trial.
Farzana Khandkar had a family with Shamsuddoha on August 7, 2015. After the 2019, she stayed at her father's house in Faridpur until October 2019. In November of that year, Samsuddoha took her to Jessore's place of work and moved to the house. After a few days in Jessore, the wife noticed a major change in her husband's behavior. The same wife Farzana came to know that the same wife Farzana came to know that the alienated Shamsuddoha with another Met, when she stopped him, the torture started on him.
After a few days, Shamsuddoha asked to bring 70 lakh taka from his father for promotion. He brought 15 lakh taka, but he was not happy with it. After that, his wife was beaten up by the torture every day.
