The mobile court has sentenced a fisherman to illegally caught hilsa in the Padma-Ishal Khan river of Sadarpur Upazila of Faridpur and section 4 of the Fisheries Conservation Act, 5(1) Section 5(1) and 1 year of unpaid labor.
Sadarpur Upazila Executive Officer and Executive Magistrate Md. Ahsan Mahmud Russell conducted the operation throughout the night on Wednesday (October 12) and conducted the operation of the mobile court in the river.
