In Charbhadrasan of Faridpur, the daughter of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's house built in the shelter project along with the government land, has a smile among 100 unstable and homeless families.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated the main activities of land and home for the landless and homeless families of the fourth phase of the shelter project across the country on Wednesday, March 22. As part of that, Additional District Magistrate (ADM) Vipul Chandra Das awarded home ownership certificate to one hundred homeless families in the Charbhadrasan Upazila Parishad conference room on that day.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer Tanjila Kabir Trapa, Upazila Chairman Md Kausar, Vice Chairman Md Motaleb Hossain, Female Vice Chairman Farida Begum, Police Station Officer-in-Charge Md. Salim Reza, Assistant Commissioner (Land) Md Khairul Islam, UP Chairman, Bir Muktijoddha, and various heads of various departments are known at the time.
Under this project, 90 houses of Mathabhanga of Upazila Sadar Union and Chita Dangi of Gazi Tech Union have been made head of 100 houses including 10 houses. There are 90 gift houses, open spaces for cultivation including ponds and 30 feet wide roads connected to the main road for movement.
Md Khalilur Rahman, who was a beneficiary of receiving the Prime Minister's gift, said that he had been running a small laundry shop in this upazila for more than two decades. It was very difficult to run a family with his small business every month.
He feels lucky to have the Prime Minister's gift house, and now he is overjoyed with the joy that he will no longer have to stay in a rented house.
Gazirtek Uniton Parishad Chairman Md. Isaacub Ali said, ten families in the fourth phase Gazirtek Unit are getting houses and their accommodation has been provided and they will no longer have to be shoddy in this house with modern facilities.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer Tanjila Kabir Tripa said, through a long work, land and houses have been constructed for the fourth stage of landless and homeless families in two places, including the destitute and homeless.
