The joy of Eid is not only for the able-bodied, but that no one should suffer on the festival day, this support is from the humanitarianism. 300 helpless, poor and distressed from the Prime Minister's Relief Fund today in Rakhtpur, Lakshmipur. Laxmipur-2 (Rautpur) Constituency Member of Parliament Abul Khar Bhuita said these things at the financial support distribution ceremony among people.
Ahead of the holy Eid-ul-Fitr, a total of 6 lakh taka will be distributed to 2 thousand taka per person in this event organized at the Upazila Parishad meeting.
In the speech of the chief guest at the event, MP Abul Khater Bhui also said that the Prime Minister's Relief Fund is not only a name for support, it is the human face of the state. It is the success of the government to put a smile on the face of the helpless people. He said that in a society where everyone rich and poor can share the joy of Eid, that society is a society of real harmony. This fellowship is only money and it is a promise of the people.
Rakhpur Upazila Nirbahi Officer Mehedi Hasan Kawsar presided over the event, he said, the administration is very careful to convey support to the real beneficiaries and this program is being conducted through transparency and accountability.
Beneficiaries said that this money is very much a relief for them before Eid. Local residents also welcome this initiative and said that such humanitarian support is a truly blessing for poor people.
