The Kalshi flyover in Mirpur is being launched on Sunday (February 19). Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate the flyover in the middle of a gathering at Kalshi Balur.
It will be opened for traffic only after the inauguration on Sunday, which will make it easier to connect with Mirpur with Mirpur, Uttara, on the other hand, Badda, Banani and Mohakhali.
The government has approved the project on January 1, 2018. The construction period was scheduled till June 30.
Atiqul Islam, the methor of Dhaka North City Corporation, said that the Kalshi flyover will be free from the water jams and the Kalshi flyover is a spring gift for the people of Mirpur.
After the opening of the flyover, the residents of Mirpur will get relief from the daily traffic jam.
The authorities know that if the flyover is opened, it will be easier to communicate with Mirpur, Uttara, Badda, Banani and Mohakhali in the busy city of millions of people.
