Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has been telephoned by UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres, Prime Minister's Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim confirmed the poison on Friday night.
Esmt Ihsanul Karim said that the UN Secretary General spoke to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at 9:25 PM and spoke to the UN Secretary General on the phone.
He also said that the Prime Minister has invited the UN Secretary General to visit Bangladesh to see the situation, and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has sought the cooperation of the United Nations in the implementation of the agreement made by Mianmar with Bangladesh.
The Prime Minister also sought the cooperation of the UN Secretary General regarding the speedy implementation of the Meantanmar agreement with Bangladesh in the repatriation of the Rohingya, and the UN Secretary General praised Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for showing humanity to Bangladesh in the shelter of the country.
