2.2 lakh has been alleged to be stolen from the office of Rictad Hossain, Additional Dutitari Project Pratalayan Officer (PIO) of Kamalnagar Upazila of Laxmipur, which has been interrogated by the police station, including office assistant cum computer operator Abdul Baker of the same office.
On Monday (June 28), the officer-in-charge (OC) Measleh Uddin confirmed the poison at around 12 o'clock.
Abdul Baker's wife Sharmin Akhter knows that in the afternoon PIO Ritad and Mehdi searched their house in the name of money and the furniture of the PIO house was upside down and vandalized. Sharmin has alleged that he did.
Sharmin also said that her husband Bakr joined the PIO office before three times but did not understand the work of the office. This is a drama of the PIO ritad against her husband (Baker). This drama is being done for snare.
Meanwhile, the three contractors, who did not wish to be named, complained that the PIO was bribed for every work, and he did not sign any file or bill checks, and the recent job bill checks. He took a bribe of 1 to 3 lakh taka from them for signing.
According to the upazila worker, there is no need to have cash in the office of the PIO. He is supposed to pay the bill through check or pre-order of the contractors. Then why will the cash come? What is the source of his money?
They also said that the PIO Ridad has been doing bribes for a long time, and he has done bribes in all the jagats he was working in the past, he has been engaged in locally influential families to make his bribe business ripe.
Five people, including a UP Chetman, have learned that the PIO has taken commission from them on the occasion of June closing. They are forced to pay commission. They are talking about paying the bribe money. If a fair investigation is done through the ACC, all the information of bribery will be released in the business.
Accused Abdul Baker said, "I joined three months ago but did not understand me. I did not do anything wrong. The PIO has detained me on the charge of stealing Tk 16 lakh. We are in the government banker. The PIO has come and searched for money in the name of searching for money.
PIO called Ritad Hossain's two mobile phones several times at night but he did not receive the call but did not get the answer even after sending the SMS.
In this regard, Kamalnagar Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mosleh Uddin said, "The police station has called four people but the PIO has not yet filed any specific complaint. It is their own matter. It is their own thing. I can't say anything about the poison of money until I get a specific complaint, but the interrogation is going on."
When asked, Kamalnagar Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Mohammad Kamruzzaman said, I have heard about the four people being called Thana. The PIO office has been detained by the police station and they have been detained by talking to the PIO.
