The accused Safita Begum (48), who was sentenced to five years in theft case, was not saved even after being on the run for a long time. Finally, on Friday evening, the police arrested her from her sister's house in Nazirpur Union of Nazipur Union of Netrakona.

Inspector of Sidhli Police Investigation Center of Kalmakanda police station. Enamul Haque confirmed this information, said that in 2005, Gulshan Thana of the capital was registered against Safita in 2005. Since then, Safita was absconding. Later in 2010, the court sentenced Safita to five years. Later on Friday evening, on the basis of secret information, Safita was arrested from his sister's brother's brother's brother's brother's side of the upazila on Saturday morning.
