Shabbat will be celebrated in Bangladesh on the night of February 25 this year.
This decision was held at the meeting of the National Moon Sighting Committee at the Islamic Foundation meeting room in Baitul Mukarram Jati Mosque on Sunday.
At the end of the committee meeting, the additional secretary of the Ministry of Religion. a. Authal Hawladar told reporters, “Shaban month has been reported on Sunday evening, the moon of the month of Shaban has been seen in the sky of Bangladesh. In this situation, the counting of the month of Shaban will start from February 12. Shaba Bara will be celebrated on Sunday night, 25th February.”
The night before the 14th of the month of Shaban of the Hijri year is considered as the night of Shabbat or ‘good luck’ for the Muslims. The night of ‘significant’ is spent in worship.
The message of Ramadan also comes in the same way, usually the 15-day head of this night begins with the month of Sitam Sadhana.
