Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said that once the construction of the Padma Bridge is completed, there will be a massive improvement in the communication system in the southern region and a new momentum in economic activities.
The Prime Minister said these things in an event organized at Ganabhaban on Sunday.
It is to be noted that the 38th span of the Padma Bridge was installed on the 1 and 2nd Pole (Span 1) at the Maota end of Munshiganj on Saturday. 5 thousand 700 meters of the bridge was visible through it.
