Police arrested Golam Hossain Bablu (48), the chairman of Ashwadita Uniton of Nokhali Sadar Upazila and Joint Secretary of Sadar Upazila Aomi League.
He was arrested from the house of Lietters Colony in the district town of Maijdi around 7 pm on Wednesday (January 15).
According to the police, he was arrested on Wednesday evening based on secret information. The case has been filed against him in a case of tragedy.
