Shafiqul Alam, the press secretary of the chief advisor of the interim government, has said that when the upcoming national elections will be held, it depends on the ‘July Charter’.

He said this to reporters before the start of the National Consensus Commission dialogue with political parties at the Foreign Service Academy on Saturday (February 15) afternoon.
‘The press secretary explains what the July charter is, explaining that the report will be given by the sixth reform commission that the report will be intensively discussed with the political party. After the talks, a decision will be taken based on the consensus of all the political parties, that is, the political parties will sign or sign it. The signing document will be July Chatter.
He also said that the political dialogue of the post-July mass uprising Bangladesh and then the political solution we are going to; how our democratic transition will be made, is the beginning of today's political dialogue.
Shafiqul Alam said, "You have seen that the Chief Advisor said that the most likely election will be held by December. In that case, we can implement some recommendations, and the political party that comes to power will implement the rest."
