FBCCI to cooperate with Bangladeshi immigrant day and trade fair in New York
FBCCI, the apex organization of Bangladeshi businessmen, will provide partnerships in organizing the ‘6th Bangladeshi Immigrant Day and Trade Fair-2023’ to be held in New York on September 22-23.
‘With the theme of ’Smart Economy in Unveiling Opportunities', Muktdhara New York and USA-Bangladesh Business Link are going to organize this event at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York in collaboration with Greater New York Chamber of Commerce.
The event was approved by the Bangladesh Ministry of Commerce And the Export Development Bureau has already listed the fair in its calendar.
Biswajit Saha, founder of Muktdhara New York, said that FBCCI has already given their consent to help organize ‘6th Bangladeshi Immigrant Day and Trade Fair-2023’.
This event is designed to be a perfect combination of Bangladeshi trade and cultural showcases. Its aim is to contribute to facilitate the United States-Bangladesh bilateral trade.
He said, in this event, apart from the stalls of Bangladeshi products, there will be seminars on the export of Bangladeshi products to America and an IT on IT for mainstream traders in America.
He said that the Export Development Bureau is going to participate in this trade show to increase the export of the United States.
EPB has already called on various sectors including Banking and Finance Service, Capital Market, Ready-made and Textile, Medical and Pharmaceuticals, Agro and Agro Processed, Food and Beverage, IT and IT Services, Leather and Leather Products, Handicrafts, Jute and Jute Variations Products and Real Estate.
More than 30 businesses in Bangladesh participated in the Bangladeshi Immigrant Day and Trade Fair-2022 held from 23 September to 25 September 2022. Renowned economists and business leaders of Bangladesh and the United States participated in various sessions. During the last year the event, an agreement was signed between the FBCCI and the Greater New York Chamber of Commerce for the recognition of the immense potential for economic and commercial cooperation between Bangladesh and the United States.
