The victim's husband's name is Arif Mita (28). The accused wife is Mukta Begum. They have a son and one son. Arif Pesha is a private car driver.

The victim, Arif Mita, said, "When I woke up at night, I saw that my hands and feet were covered in blood. Later, when I screamed, the neighbors came and admitted me to the hospital. Shivpur police station officer-in-charge (OC) Salah Uddin said, "After we got the news, the victim's wife Mukta Begum was arrested from the police station at night."
