Floating in Shitalakshya river in Ghoshal of Palash upazila of Narsingdi The naval police recovered the body of an unidentified (30) youth.
His body was recovered from Nizam Uddin Ghat of Kathali Paa village in Ghosashal town area on Sunday (April 17) afternoon.
On Sunday night, the poison was confirmed by the reporters in Madhavadi's Bangarchar Naval Police Station, Md. Tariqul Islam, who was found floating on the Shitalakshya river ghat on Sunday afternoon.
Later, when they informed the police of Ghoshal Faanji, they informed the Bangarchar naval police station in Madhavadi, and later in the afternoon, the naval police came to the spot and recovered the body of the deceased. Later, the body of the deceased was sent to the Sadar Hospital morgue of Narsingdi for investigation.
Md Tariqul Islam, in charge of Bangarchar Naval Police Station in Madhavadi, said that his body was drowning in the river for more than a week, his whole body was swollen and there was no injury marks anywhere on the body of the deceased youth.
The police are working to identify the victim and find the real cause of death, which has been filed a wrongful death case.
