Winter clothes have been distributed among intellectually disabled students in Narsingdi.
On Wednesday (16th February) Narsingdi Swedish Disabled and Autistic School “Dyutimta Duter” conducted by the district administration in the local area of Narsingdi Velanagar Bank Colony Residential Office of Bangladesh Red Crescent Society Narsingdi Unit 50 special demands. Winter clothes (blankets) will be distributed among the completed students.
Principal of the school Md. Jasim Uddin Sarkar moderated by Assistant Commissioner Kazi Tahmina Sarmin, Narsingdi Zilla Parishad Chairman Alhaj Abdul Matin Bhui was present as the chief guest in the event.
Special guests were Narsingdi Zilla Parishad Chief Executive Officer (Deputy Secretary) Mohammad Shariful Islam, Swede Bangladesh Narsingdi Advisor Engineer Sara Islam, Bangladesh Red Crescent Society Narsingdi Unit General Secretary Haji Abdus Chatter, Narsingdi District Women Awtami League President Mosa: Sumi Akhter Fatima, District Council Member Israt Jahan Tamanna and others were special guests.
The chief guest said that Sheikh Hasina's government has been providing all the cooperation to the poor, oppressed, helpless and special intellectually disabled, and the way the disabled persons have been with the disabled in the past will help them in this way in the present and in the future.
