A man named Deen Islam (38) was killed by the opponents in Shivpur, Narsingdi, on Monday (September 18) around 12 noon. The incident took place in Patutapa area of Putita Unit of Upazila.
The deceased is the son of Mosleh Uddin of Patutarpa area of Putita Unit of Deen Islam Upazila.
The police and locals said that the dispute between his bad relationship with Deen Islam and his bad relationship was going on, and because of this, when there was a quarrel between them again on Monday morning, Deen Islam first attacked Annotar Hossain and then Annotar's people also counter-attacked him. He was killed on the spot due to the overthrow of Deen Islam.
Anonor Hossain was also injured by sharp desi weapons and later rescued Anonor Hossain from the spot and was sent to Narsingdi District Hospital and then to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
Shibpur Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Feroz Talukder said, “A person named Deen Islam has been killed in a previous dispute due to a previous dispute. Another person has been injured in this incident. The body of the deceased has been sent to Narsingdi Sadar Hospital morgue for investigation. The next legal action has been under process.
