The Public Administration Reform Commission has recommended the formation of two new divisions named Comilla and Faridpur, where the Judiciary Reform Commission has recommended setting up courts in this upazila level.
The Judiciary and Public Administration Reform Commission submitted a report to the Chief Advisor Muhammad Yunus on Wednesday (February 5) at noon.
Later, the summary of the reform proposal from the press wing of the chief adviser was sent to the media, which is said to be the current country. A total of 8 administrative divisions have been made, geographical and travel. Considering the advantages, the demand for the formation of Comilla and Faridpur divisions has been long-standing. So it is recommended to form two new divisions named Comilla and Faridpur.
Sub-section No. 2 of the Judicial Reform Commission report, geographical location and characteristics of upazila headquarters, distance from district headquarters, traffic system, population density and case pressure are considered to be established by assistant judge of various upazila seniors of the country and the court of first class judicial magistrate.
The Public Administration Reform Commission (Sub-section 13 of the 6) has mentioned in their report that if the Criminal Magistrates Court is re-established in this upazila parayat, the commission also said that the next steps can be taken by taking the advice of the Supreme Court.
The report of the Reform Commission was officially handed over to the government on Wednesday, the report of the Constitution, Election System, Public Administration and Police Reform Commission was handed over to the government.
