From Manik Mita Avenue: The debut ceremony of the youth political party (National Citizen Party-NCP) has started on Friday (February 28) at 4:00 pm in front of the Sangsad Bhavan, which will be held at the Manik Mita Avenue.
Tarek Reza, the central of the anti-discrimination student movement, recited from the Holy Qur'an at the beginning, and Arpita Shama Dev read from the Gita, Abir Baruta from Tripitaka, Alik Meri read from the Bible.
After that, the national music was performed, followed by a minute's silence in memory of the martyrs of the movement to establish various democratic and Nyatas, including the Great War of Liberation, the July Movement.
In the meantime, people from various classes and professions have joined the event celebrated on the occasion of the debut of this new party in the top of the new party.
Security has been strengthened around the venue on the Mita Avenue, where the gathering has to be entered through metal detectors and archcoats.
Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary General Mita Golam Parwtar, Nagrik Oikya President Mahmudur Rahman Manna, Chief Coordinator of Gana Sanhati Movement Jonated Saki, Labor Party Chairman Mostafizur Rahman Iran and politicians attended the event.
Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi and Joint Secretary General Shahid Uddin Chowdhury also attended the event on behalf of BNP.
