The EB Debating Society has formed a human chain at the 11:00 pm on Tuesday (August 22) to demand a fair investigation and trial of the mysterious death of Naureen Nusrat Snigdha, president of the Islamic University Debating Society and 2017-18 academic year student of the Law and Land Management Department.
General Secretary of Esmut Debating Society Nazmus Shakib moderated Shapla Forum President and Debating Society Moderator Professor Dr. Mamunur Rahman, General Secretary of Shapla Forum Professor Dr. Mahbubur Rahman, former assistant moderator of debating society and associate professor of English department. Sajjad Hossain Zahid and Debating Society Assistant Moderator Department of Law and Land Management Assistant Professor Sahida Akhtar Asha and Assistant Professor of English Department SM Shouteb and others were present.
The agitators said that after the marriage, Naureen was kept in a room. She would not be allowed to take the medicine she needed. We came to know through the open letter of Naureen Apu's father that her father-in-law was pressuring her to have a baby without care. Her parents wanted to meet her, but her husband asked them to come after 6 pm. We want to know what is the mystery of his death, and we want to unveil a proper investigation of his death and bring the punishment to all those who are entangled with his death. We do not want to lose any other Noreen.
Professor Dr. in human chain. Mamunur Rahman said, seeing Naureen, there was a positive idea that Naureen was a multi-talented talent, and she has a multi-talented talent everywhere. We do not believe that Noreen will commit suicide, how did she die? We demand a proper investigation.
Professor Dr. Mahbubur Rahman said, "Through the attempt to make it a suicide, whether it was a suicide, whether it was evidence or not, I thank the students and journalists of the university, who have been able to show a picture that it is lighting that it is lighting for, that it is light. We have heard that before, we have heard that his family is going door to door for justice, but could not start the proceedings, but yesterday I saw that the learned court had taken the case into account and ordered to present it through a fair investigation.
She also said, "I don't want to say that her husband killed her, I tried to say it again and again, Nusrat was a protester, led by progressive organizations, Nusrat was a protester, a protesting character of suicide. We are talking about a credible and acceptable investigation of this incident to reveal the real picture.
Earlier, on August 16, the students of the ‘Bandhan-32’ batch of the university's ‘Bandhan-32’ batch of the 2017-18 academic year of the university formed a human chain at the mural square of the 'Mrityunjji Mujib' mural square of the university.
It is to be noted that on August 8, the mysterious death took place from the sixth floor roof of Bajir Rahim owned by Abdur Rahim on Bijnagar Road near Palashbai Namabazar in Ashulita Savar.
