He said this in a video message at the opening ceremony of the seven-day Seventh Community Development Camp (Comdeka) of Bangladesh Scouts, Pahar, Hard Port, Padant area of Yamuna River in Sirajganj on Thursday (February 20) afternoon.
Dr. Muhammad Yunus said that the inclusion of Metaid in Bangladesh Scout has been approved since 1994. But their participation is less than 13 percent, and this number should be increased.
He said, I hope that effective initiatives will be taken to participate in the participation of women in Scouting.
Reminiscing about his scouting, he said, "I was a scout myself, I spent my childhood scouting like you, wearing a scout dress like you, with a scarf, I remember my childhood.
He also said that Bangladesh Scouts are strong enough in the international arena, we have to strengthen this position.
The event was presided over by the Chief Secretary of the Chief Advisor and the President of the Seventh National Comdecker Organizing Committee M. Siraj Uddin Mita.

Comdeka Chief and Member Secretary Mir Mahbubur Snigdha's welcome speech was attended by the Deputy Commissioner of Sirajganj, Superintendent of Police and other officials from all over the country and scout members and officials from all over the country.
