President Md. congratulated the countrymen on the occasion of the holy Eid-ul-Fitr tomorrow on Saturday. Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in a separate message on Friday and gave the greetings.
President Md. Abdul Hamid emphasized that the education of Eid-ul-Fitr is inspired by the rich Bangladesh country, he said, ‘Eid brings the bond of amity, harmony and unity among people of all classes and professions. People from all walks of life join in one line and share the joy of Eid-ul-Fitr. Let everyone be blessed, may Bangladesh grow into a prosperous country.’
On Eid-ul-Fitr, the President said, Eid-ul-Fitr is one of the main religious festivals of Muslims. After the month-long Sitam Sadhana and Oath of Rest, the message of immense happiness and joy is ‘the Holy Eid-ul-Fitr comes among us’.
He said, this day is joyful, happy. This joy is among everyone, all the people of Bengal, go back to the village, to their people, meet with their relatives.
Abdul Hamid said, "Islam is a religion of peace and welfare. There is no place for violence, hatred, malice, human values, mutual coexistence, tolerance and equality. Islam holds welfare.
He said, "This great message and ideal of Islam should be spread among all. The expectation of the President, the meaning of Islam and the inner meaning of the liberation of humanity, should be the direction of the liberation of humanity, may the world be filled with peace and harmony."
In another message, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina wished the motherland Bangladesh and the Muslim Ummah to be for the future development, prosperity and continued peace of the country and the Muslim Ummah on the occasion of the holy Eid-ul-Fitr. Sheikh Hasina said sincere greetings and Eid Mubarak to all the Muslims of the world including the countrymen, ‘I extend my sincere greetings to the people of the country and all the Muslims of the world on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.’
