The Election Commission (EC) appealed to the Election Commission (EC) against the decision of the Returning Officers in the upcoming 12th parliamentary elections in a two-day hearing. 107 candidates have returned and received such information after the second day of hearing on Monday (December 11).

Meanwhile, on Sunday (December 10) the first day of hearing 100 appeals, the Election Commission will return the candidacy of 56. The application of 32 has been rejected. The appeal of the six appeals has been kept pending and four appeals are absent.
EC Additional Secretary Ashok Kumar Debnath said that 2,716 nomination papers were filed in 300 seats. Out of which, the selection of 731 percent of the total nomination papers of the selection papers was 26.92 percent or 27 percent of the total submitted nomination papers, which are valid, 73.8 percent of the nomination papers, which are 73.8 percent or 73 percent of the nomination papers.
EC Secretary Md. Jahangir Alam has reported that 561 appeals have been filed against the decision of the returning officer and the Election Commission will dispose of the appeals after hearing till December 15.
