On the occasion of the 43rd historic Homecoming Day of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the eldest daughter of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, a discussion meeting, fixed and documentary film exhibition was held at Tajumuddin Upazila Auditorium on Wednesday in Tajumuddin, Bhola.
Upazila Aomi League Vice President Taibur Rahman Master presided over the discussion meeting, fixed and documentary exhibition program, Member of Parliament of Bhola-3 Constituency Alhaj Nurunnabi Chowdhury Shaon MP spoke as the chief guest.
MP Shaon said - Today is the 43rd historic homecoming day of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's 43rd historic homecoming day today. After 6 years of exile from August 15, 1975, Sheikh Hasina returned to the soil of Bengal on May 17, 1981. In her absence, Sheikh Hasina was unanimously elected as the president of Awami League in her absence. On May 17, 1981, Sheikh Hasina returned to the country on May 18 and went to No. 32.
