Free treatment of Navy in Tajumuddin

As part of social responsibility and public welfare activities and on the occasion of July revival event 2025, a one-day free medical camp medicine distribution program and medical campaign has been organized in Tajumuddin of Bhola under the supervision of Bangladesh Navy.
On Monday (June 28) from 10 am to 4 pm in Chandpur Unit No. 3 of the upazila, more than two hundred women, men and children were given free medical services. The experienced medical team of the Navy treated various complex diseases as well as various complex diseases. And the necessary medicines were given to the patients according to the prescription.
A source of Bangladesh Navy said that local people are informed to come to the medical center through the upazila administration and public representatives.
Helal Uddin Liton, the former general secretary of the local press club present at the camp, said that this kind of humanitarian initiative is very helpful for the poor and helpless people of the area, especially for those who cannot go to distant areas and seek treatment.
Md Hasan, who came for treatment, said that there is a shortage of doctors in Tajumuddin Health Complex. Besides, I went there and bought a ticket of 5 and stood in line for two hours, I did not get anything except one leaf and 5 gastric medicines.
Bangladesh Navy Medicine Specialist Surgeon Lt. Col. Farhan Abid (BN) said that the elderly are more affected by pain and allergic diseases, and more patients with seasonal flu are coming for treatment, along with their various advices and distribution of medicines for free.
According to the Navy, such service activities are being conducted regularly in the coastal and remote areas of the country and will continue in the future.
