The Ministry of Education has announced the closure of all secondary schools, colleges, madrasas and technical educational institutions in Dhaka, Chutadanga, Jessore, Khulna and Rajshahi districts on Monday (April 29) due to the ongoing fire.
On Sunday (April 28) night, the Ministry of Education Information and Public Relations Officer MA Khat informed this information.
Last January, 10 district schools with a temperature of less than 10 degrees Celsius were declared closed. Schools were open where the temperature was above 10 degrees Celsius, now it is summer, and the same is the case with the same system of education.
In this context, the education minister said, "If anything happens, we should not have the idea that the educational institution should be closed first. Our new curriculum is centered in educational institutions, so it is important for students to come to schools and colleges. Online classes can be done in the field of higher education. The ministry has no problem with this, but it is not possible to take online classes due to the new curriculum in secondary level.
