in the land of Asif Nazrul, Professor of Law Department of Dhaka University, has called upon Kamal Hossain to lead Gano Forum President Kamal Hossain to lead this rule by claiming that there is no rule of law.

He said this in a discussion titled ‘Rule and Democracy of Law’ at the initiative of the Supreme Court Lawyers Association at Shamchul Haque Chowdhury Hall of the Supreme Court on Friday. Strong critics of the government, various parties and professional leaders participated in it.

According to this professor of law department, the rule of law means three things. The country will run on the basis of law but he does not see any trial in the country.

‘I have not been sued during any government, but this government has filed several cases against me. We have laws but the law is not being followed.’

The second poison that Asif Nazrul pointed out is that the law is in the public interest, he said, ‘But we don't have it in our country.’

And the third ‘condition of governance’ is the law enacted with the consent of the people, and the people did not agree to the last election.

He said, ‘So how is the rule of law now? If there is no real election, there will be no constitution and the spirit of the liberation war in Bangladesh.’
