Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) KM Nurul Huda said that the 11th National Assembly elections will be held in December or early January.
He said this at a training workshop at Nasirnagar Ashutosh Pilot High School on Friday morning.
The CEC said to the polling officers, "You have to fulfill the power of the next national election. It is like a greatness. You have done this duti before and will continue to do more in the future. This is your constitutional duty and it is a part of the constitution."
Workshop Brahmanbazita Deputy Commissioner Rezwotanu Rahman, Regional Election Officer and Returning Officer Md. Shahedunnabi Chowdhury, District Nirvana Officer Shafiqur Rahman, Upazila Executive Officer BM Moshiur Rahman, Assistant Commissioner (Land) Umme Salma, Upazila Election Officer Abul Kalam Azad and others were present.
