‘A tree planting program was held in the name of 6 martyrs in Ramganj of Lakshipur to commemorate the sacrifice of the martyrs in the July coup under the slogan ’Ek Martyr, Ek Tree'.
Upazila Executive Officer SM Robin Sheesh inaugurated this program in the upazila premises of Upazila Administration and Forest Department on Saturday (July 19) afternoon.
ESMO- Upazila Assistant Commissioner Bhumi Devabrata Das, Upazila Agriculture Officer Sabir Ahmed Sifat, Upazila Forest Officer Pranab Kumar Mitra, Ramganj Press Club President Abu Taher, Rachapur Press Club General Secretary MR Sumon and members of the martyr's family in the July coup were present.
At the end of the tree planting program, Upazila Nirbahi Officer SM Robin Sheesh said, 6 people have been martyred in Ramganj in the July uprising. Desiti, fruit, forest, medicinal and ornamental trees have been planted in the July uprising. There is a qR coda with the fruit of the martyrs.
