The National Consensus Commission held a meeting with the jurists in the meeting. On October 17, the National Assembly area was discussed in various poisons including organized chaos.
According to a press release, the meeting of the National Consensus Commission was held with the jurists at the LD hall of the National Parliament on Monday (October 20). In the meeting, the juddlers informed the commission that many of them have been deprived of public medical services in various hospitals since last Eid al-Adha despite having health cards, which they called the situation very sad and inhumane.
In order to ensure the treatment of the injured July warriors, they drew the attention of the commission to send a written instructions to all the hospitals of the country.
Besides, July emphasized on taking measures to ensure the legal protection of family members, and they also emphasized that each July warrior should be given a specific identity card (ID card).
The jurists raised the issue of the October 17 events and said that the incident was completely undesirable for them, they said that they did not cause any kind of chaos or violence in the South Plaza of the National Parliament but instead they were there to highlight their just demands.
However, some foreigners infiltrated there and got involved in fighting and vandalism, of whom 20 to 25 people were identified.
The July warriors expressed regret for the incident and apologized for the commission's assistance in withdrawing the four cases filed that day along with an apology.
According to the commission, all the demands drawn by the July warriors to the commission will be seriously considered and will be informed to the appropriate authorities and will help to take action to solve their problems.
The meeting was attended by a delegation of 13 members of July fighters. Sohag Mahmud, Kamrul Hasan, Md. Al-Amin, Mustain Billah Habibi, Hasibul Hasan Jisan, Marufa Mata, Ahadul Islam, Majedul Haque Shanto, Md. Sagar Uddin, Md. Dulal Khan, Md. Nahiduzzaman, Imran Khan, Nusrat Jahan.
