Pirojpur Superintendent of Police Md. O'alid Hossain said that he was withdrawn and sent to the police line on Monday due to administrative reasons.
Gitanagar on December 16 Bijt Day Upazila Parishad Chairman Sayediputra Masud Saidi was the chief guest of the upazila administration organized procession, kuchkawaz, discussion meeting and freedom fighter award ceremony.
This incident has sparked criticism on social media.
Hakim Howladar, General Secretary of Pirojpur District Aomi League, complained that the administrative government Masud Saidi was greeted by the OC and Upazila Nirbahi Officer of the police station and gave the crest to the freedom fighters.
OC Md. was standing next to Upazila Chairman Masud Saidi on the salute stage in the hut of the day. Mizanul Haque, UNO Zakir Hossain Bachchu, Upazila Freedom Fighter Commander Belat Hossain and Upazila Awami League President Matiur Rahman.
The Superintendent of Police said that he has been withdrawn due to administrative reasons.
