- The higher syndicates of the university decided to start two new institutes named Jahangirnagar University (JABI) ‘Center for Asian Studies’ and ‘Institute of Islamic Studies and Theology’.
After the University Syndicate meeting at 3:30 pm on Monday (March 17) at 3:30 PM, Vice-Chancellor Professor Mohammad Kamrul Ahsan confirmed this information. Earlier, this special syndicate meeting started at 11 am on this day in the council room of the new administrative building of the university.
In the briefing after the Syndicate meeting held, the Vice-Chancellor of the University, Professor Dr. Mohammad Kamrul Ahsan said in the briefing that two independent institutes named ‘Center for Asian Study’ and ‘Institute of Islamic Studies and Theology’ have been opened in the university.
