The next 7th January National Assembly elections will be held. Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Kazi Habibul Authal announced the schedule of the election schedule on Wednesday (November 15). Although the schedule of the election was rejected by the BNP and the like-minded parties, the national party leader and the leader of the national party, Begum Roshan Ershad MP, welcomed it.
On Wednesday night, he said, the Chief Election Commissioner has announced the schedule for the parliamentary elections. It is very good, I hope that the elections will be held with the participation of all parties.
When asked whether the national party will participate in the elections in the current situation, the opposition leader said, "The national party is ready for the elections. We are well prepared."
He also said that the party has never boycotted the election and this time will not boycott the election.
Former Cheetman Hussain Muhammad Ershad of Jatiya Party also recalled that he was a member of the election in five seats in the election from prison in a very adverse situation, former First Lady Roshan Ershad.
