On the way back to Barguna Janaza Pair, a madrasa teacher named Maulana Abdus Sattar (45) died on the way back to the oil-carrying area, on Wednesday (March 15) at the Sonar Bangla area of Barguna Sadar, Barguna Sadar.
The deceased Maulana Abdus Sattar is the son of Abdul Latif of Batkhola area of Barguna Sadar Upazila, who was working as a co-super of a madrasa in Barisal.
According to the sources of the witness and the deceased's family, Maulana Abdus Sattar came to Bai after receiving the news of his uncle's death. After that, he left for his workplace Barisal on a personal motorcycle.
He was hit by an oil truck in the Sonar Bangla area of Barguna-Barisal Mahasak, which hit him on the spot and died on the spot.
Barguna Sadar Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Ali Ahmed said that the oil truck was seized from the spot and the driver of the truck was also arrested by the police and the body will be handed over to the family after the legal process.
