The Parliament Secretariat Commission has approved a budget of Tk 337 crore 60 lakh in the financial year 2023-2024 for the National Parliament.
On Tuesday evening, the Parliament Secretariat, which approved the budget in the meeting of the Parliament Secretariat chaired by the Speaker of the National Assembly, Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury, has approved the budget of the Parliament Secretariat Commission.
Prime Minister and Parliament Leader Sheikh Hasina, Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal, Leader of Opposition in Parliament Begum Roshan Ershad and Minister of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Anisul Haque participated in the meeting.
Chief Whip Noor-e-Alam Chowdhury of Jatiya Sangsad attended the meeting on special invitation.
In a circular of the Parliament Secretariat, in the meeting, the revised budget of Bangladesh National Parliament has been approved in the revised budget of the Bangladesh National Parliament for the fiscal year 2022-2023.
This is to be approved for the budget projection of Tk 361 crore 23 lakh in the financial year 2024-25 and Tk 386 crore 52 lakh in the financial year 2025-26.
