Addressing the nation on the occasion of the Great Victory Day on Monday The chief adviser said this.
He said, I have repeatedly asked you to complete the elections after completing all the major reforms and organize the elections. But because of political consensus, we are telling us again, ‘If’, we should complete the election on the basis of making the voter list accurately, then the election will be possible by the end of 2025.
Dr. Muhammad Yunus said, "From now on, we can create a tradition that in all elections, including local elections, first voters will ensure a close number of 100 percent voting in all elections, and if we can ensure that no government will dare to take away people's right to vote."
The preparation and date of the election depends on the recommendations of the two commissions.
The big news in this context is that the Election Commission has been formed with the Chief Election Commissioner and the commission has taken responsibility. From now on, they have the responsibility to start the process of forming the future government.
Dr. "The first thing to do is to update the voter list, it's already a tough job, now that it's more difficult because there was no chance for voters to participate in the last three elections," Yunus said.
The chief adviser said, "Let the first young women voters in this election create a tradition by voting by close to 100%. The Election Commission and all the social institutions and political parties are all in the same way that we should take various creative programs to achieve this goal."
The chief adviser said, "This time we want to ensure that we vote for expatriate Bangladeshis. We have heard many reassurances in this regard in the past. We want to ensure that this will be the first time in this government, we want to make a reliable arrangement for this."
He said, "Everything is time-consuming, if we want to improve the election process, implement the recommendations of the Election Reform Commission, then the Election Commission should give time to the extent and depth of the necessary reforms."
