Interim Government's Chief Advisor. The National Consensus Commission has been formed under the leadership of Muhammad Yunus, and the Vice President of this Commission has been made the head of the Constitution Reform Commission, Professor Ali Riz.
On Wednesday (February 12), the government's Council of Ministers Division issued a notification for the formation of this commission.
This commission will start operations from February 15.
The other members of the commission are - Abdul Mudid Chowdhury, head of Public Administration Reform Commission, Safar Raj Hossain, Head of Police Reform Commission, Election System Reform Commission Head Dr. Badiul Alam Majumdar, Justice Department Reforms Commission member Justice Emdadul Haque and Anti-Corruption Reform Commission Chief Iftekharuzzaman.
It is said in the notification in the context of the scope of the commission that the commission will discuss with the political parties and forces for forming a consensus and recommend action in this regard for the purpose of considering and accepting the recommendations of the commissions formed for the reform of the election system, police, judiciary, public administration, constitution and anti-corruption poison in view of the upcoming elections.
The commission will be 6 months from the start date of the program.
The Office of the Chief Advisor shall provide the Secretary to this Commission.
