The main congregation of the holy Eid-ul-Fitr was held at the national Eidgah and the Eid congregation started at 8:40 am on Thursday (April 11).
Khatib Hafez of Batul Mukarram Jati Mosque in the main Eid Jamaat at the national Eidgah Maulana Mufti Mohammad Ruhul Amin Imam and Mutajjin Qari Muhammad Habibur Rahman of Batul Mukarram Jati Mosque served as Assistant Imam.
At the end of the prayer, a special prayer should be offered for the welfare, happiness and prosperity of the country and the nation including the entire Muslim Ummah.
President in the main congregation of Eid. Sahabuddin, Chief Justice Obatadul Hasan, Dhaka South City Corporation's Memor Barrister Sheikh Fazle Noor Tapas, Cabinet Member, Member of Parliament, Judge of the Supreme Court and High Court Division, political leaders, senior officials of the government, diplomats of various Muslim countries and millions of worshipers participated.
In the morning, the worshipers entered the Eidgah in front of Paltan Mo, Matsya Bhavan and the High Court in front of three checkposts.
At the entrance to the Eid Jamaat, there was a sharp surveillance by the RAB-Police and the law enforcement agencies, and the members of the law enforcement forces are allowing the worshipers to enter the Eidgah only after searching three places of the Eid Jamaat.
